What Are the Terms for Teaching Quran on Tartil Online?

These terms explain your responsibilities as a Quran teacher, how lessons should be delivered, and how your earnings are calculated and paid. By joining Tartil Online, you agree to follow them.

What are your account responsibilities?

Provide accurate information and authentic documents belonging to you. Keep your profile, prices, and availability up to date.

Your account is personal to you. You may not share it or arrange for another person to deliver your booked lessons.

What standard of teaching is expected?

Teach only within the pathways approved for your account. Assess each student’s level, set suitable memorization and revision work, complete the lesson report, and coordinate with the assigned supervisor.

Treat students with patience and respect. Abusive conduct, undue pressure, and promises of guaranteed memorization within a fixed period are not acceptable.

How should you prepare for each lesson?

Each lesson is a private, one-to-one session lasting 30 minutes. Join five minutes before the scheduled start, use a quiet teaching space and a reliable connection, and keep your microphone and camera on throughout the lesson.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, request this at least six hours before the lesson. Emergencies are subject to review by the platform.

What happens if you arrive late or miss a lesson?

• Up to five minutes late: provide the full lesson duration.
• More than five and up to ten minutes late: the student may choose a full-length lesson or rescheduling.
• More than ten minutes late: the session is treated as a teacher absence.
• If you cancel or miss the session: the lesson is returned to the student, and you are not entitled to payment for that session.

Repeated incidents may affect your account status. Resolving a late start must not compromise another student’s subsequent booking.

How are prices and revenue shares determined?

You set your service prices within the platform’s approved limits. Students see the applicable price before purchasing.

Your base share is 65% of the service price before coupon discounts. The platform retains 35% and covers payment gateway fees from its own share.

Price changes apply to new purchases only. They do not alter subscriptions already purchased.

How do coupons affect your earnings?

The teacher and Tartil Online each cover half of a coupon discount, whether the coupon was issued by the teacher or the platform.

Your share after a discount equals 65% of the original service price, minus half of the coupon value.

Discounts and financial arrangements must be recorded through the platform.

When do earnings become available, and when are they paid?

Earnings from each completed lesson are added immediately to your available balance when completion is recorded in the system.

Payouts are made on the 5th of each month, using the available balance at the end of the previous month. The minimum payout is EGP 200, through InstaPay or Mobile Cash. Balances below this threshold roll over to the next payout cycle.

An immediate balance credit is not an immediate cash transfer. Any dispute or adjustment must relate to the relevant transaction and be reflected in your account statement.

Can you arrange lessons or payments outside Tartil Online?

Bookings, payments, lessons, and educational communication must remain within the platform and its approved channels.

You must not collect payments directly from students or exchange personal contact details for the purpose of moving the teaching relationship outside Tartil Online.

How must student privacy be protected?

Do not record, photograph, or share lessons, student information, or private conversations.

Follow-up and decisions concerning children must be coordinated with their parent or guardian and the assigned supervisor through official channels.

When may an account be restricted or closed?

Tartil Online may restrict or suspend an account where documents are inaccurate, these terms are breached, or student safety is at risk. The case will be reviewed, and you may contact the platform regarding the decision.

If you wish to stop teaching, notify the team so existing bookings and outstanding earnings can be addressed. Account closure does not cancel valid earnings. Joining the platform does not guarantee bookings or a fixed income.

How will changes to these terms be communicated?

Material changes will be communicated with their effective date. They will not retrospectively alter accrued rights relating to earlier transactions. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
