How Can You Become an Online Quran Teacher with Tartil Online?
Tartil Online connects students with qualified Quran teachers for private, one-to-one lessons through its website and apps. We look for teachers who combine sound Quran knowledge with effective teaching, professional conduct, and reliable online delivery.
What qualifications do you need?
Applicants must be Egyptian and hold a relevant Al-Azhar qualification. Upload a clear copy of your certificate to your account so our team can verify your academic background.
Is a Quran Ijazah required?
Yes. You must hold a verifiable Ijazah covering the entire Quran, at minimum in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, with a documented, connected chain of transmission. A clear copy of your Ijazah certificate must be included in your application.
What should your teacher profile include?
Complete your personal details, qualifications, teaching experience, and teaching languages. You will also need to:
- Upload a clear sample of your own Quran recitation.
- Add a clear profile photograph in Al-Azhar attire.
- Publish appointment times you can reliably attend.
- Review and set your package and course prices within the platform’s approved limits.
- Complete the required identity verification and payout details.
How is lesson revenue shared?
Your base share is 65% of your service price before coupon discounts. Tartil Online’s 35% share supports marketing, student supervision and administration, technical support, development of the website and apps available through Google Play and the App Store, and payment processing.
Coupon discounts are shared equally between the teacher and the platform, as explained in the Teacher Terms and Conditions.
What happens during the online interview?
Our team assesses your suitability through an online interview covering:
- Quran recitation, memorization, and practical Tajweed.
- Your ability to explain clearly and teach appropriately.
- Communication, professionalism, and student interaction.
- Your ability to use the platform and online teaching tools.
- Your teaching environment, internet connection, audio, and video.
We also review identity and verification documents, including a criminal record certificate, particularly for teaching children. Approval to teach children or deliver lessons in an additional language requires an assessment suited to that teaching pathway.
When will your profile become available to students?
Your profile is published after you complete the application, pass the required reviews and interview, and receive approval from Tartil Online.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Approval does not guarantee a minimum number of bookings or a fixed income.
